I Couldn't Resist

I got the cutest idea from over at Bakerella...Easter basket cupcakes! How cauuuute are these!!!I food colored the frosting and coconut green for the grass, added jelly beans and chocolate into the basket, and rainbow twizzlers for the handle...and there you have it!

I just love the little chocolate bunnies and chocolate coins...so nostalgic to my childhood!

Card stock name cards help the cupcakes stand upright when wrapped in cellophane.
Tied with a sweet little ribbon, my family is sure to enjoy these sweet treats come Easter morning. I made extra effort to address each cupcake by name as to make the recipient feel extra special...like I hand chose each one personally. Cute bunny for my crafty cousin, peanut butter chocolate for dad, and pretty ribbons for the girls...because they appreciate those things more than the men!
Are you making any special Easter treats for your loved ones?

And if you haven't heard there is a darling garden party going on at Lola B's celebrating her 200th post...Kasey is just adorable...she's the one standing on the right...

And her giveaway is to die for...literally...you will not believe me until you see it with your own eyes. Anyways, I fell in love with her blog the moment I found it...you will just adore her as well...and shoot...she sure is a funny one!

Happy Easter!

  3. My mom used to make Easter basket cupcakes like these every year, but you have taken them to a new level with the candies on top. (I think she used jelly beans.) Thanks, too, for the information about Lola B's celebration. I'm headed over now to sign up! Have a Happy Easter.

  13. Oh my goodness I love this!!

My little one has a severe dairy allergy so we will have a hard time finding dairy-free Easter treats for him---but this one I will remember!! Even though I prefer baking from scratch, I know there are dairy-free cake and frosting mixes. Thanks for the ideas!!!
