Valentine’s Day Decor 2011 :: AND Giveaway!!

The time is here…hello pink and red.  I love Valentine’s Day….love, love, love.  And as you will see I go a little crazy…but that is what you like about me, right?  So come on in and enjoy the V-day candy…eye candy that is…  My Christmas doilies inspired a similar theme this year…heart doilies found at the Dollar Tree {Target has them as well for more $}.  Vintage cards and doilies clothes pinned to my twiggy tree…and pink lace…also from my Christmas tree this year… I am finally getting used to my gray walls and figuring out how to incorporate my holiday decor…it takes time… A “Be Mine” banner I made last year…doilies, glitter glue, and scrapbook stickers… Instead of hanging the ornaments on a tree I hung them on the chandelier this year.  Sort of serves as a centerpiece for our dining table without taking up space for our food… Repurposed box of chocolates…pick them up on clearance after V-day… I really tried to cut back on the amount of “stuff” I put out this year…though it may not appear that way.  I was able to downsize from four bins to two.  And the house still feels full.  I think the heart doilies really make a statement without overcrowding my counters and shelves.
