Celebrating Two Years

Two years ago today, I married my best friend...and it has been a wonderful journey ever since...

Our first year of marriage was all about the excitement of finding the one to love for the rest of our lives.  I was on cloud nine.  Year two has been a bit different... 

I have learned that it has been about doing life together.  Like all those cheesy anniversary cards I looked through...about being together through the ups and downs.  Though some days have been hard, both of us dealing with transitions in life, at the end of the day I am so thankful to lay my head down next to this amazing man.

I have learned to be more patient and honest...letting go of my own agenda in order to share my life with another person...

And though some days this is a difficult thing to do...it is all so worth it.

Thankful to do life with my best friend...and to live a life beyond what I ever dreamed of...I am so blessed and thankful for this day to look back and remember two years ago...this promise and bond I made...for now until eternity...
