Spooky Halloween Home

October is officially here and so my Halloween decor has came out to join their fall friends.  Over the past few years I have been collecting these adorably whimsical and slightly creepy Halloween characters from a local craft fair (unfortunately they do not sell anything online).  And in combination with the already existing neutrals, I am very pleased with my spooky little Halloween home this year.

I cut out some bats, picked up a few black crows from the Dollar Tree, and copied some doily ghosts that I saw over at A Beautiful Mess.  To make the ghosts I covered tennis balls with fabric and lace so that the yellow did not show through then tied it off underneath the ball.

I found a local pumpkin patch that sells real dried gourds so I picked myself up a whole bag full!  I love the natural look they add.

Earlier this fall I found two skull candlesticks at HomeGoods that add to my already growing candlestick collection.

I added some more bats, crows, a few mini pumpkins, and gourds to the hutch.  I love how the crows are perched up on the antlers and stick!

As I shared before, all the white pumpkins are fake and still look great!

I recently found a new porcelain stool that holds a thrift store find skull.  The stool was quite a find at TJ Maxx for $60 (the same one is selling on Overstock for $120 and being reviewed as a great price!).

One of my favorite Halloween items our bride and groom skeletons.  It is fitting as we got married in October and honeymooned in Cancun.

How romantically spooky.
