For Halloween this year Brent and I dressed up as Fred and Wilma Flintstone. This was the first year I have ever made our costumes and I was quite pleased with how easy and cute they turned out!
I made our costumes the night before after seeing Jen's adorable toddler version on her blog. It was pretty simple to sew together using felt and using a belt instead of elastic for Wilma's waist. Wilma's necklace is also just styrofoam balls strung on a piece of thread.
We got a few yabba-dabba-doos from people...
And this pretty much sums up the night...my poor husband humoring his crazy wife!
We joined my family for a little Halloween carnival. And I may have tried to pretend my nephew was our baby...he kind of matches with our Flintstone theme as a tiger. Pure coincidence. I promise. Wink.
Is there any question this baby doesn't get enough love? I don't think so.
// Hope you all had a safe and fun Halloween! Did you dress up?
Love the costumes! And the styrofoam ball necklace is uber fun for the costume. . .My daughter was Merida from the movie "Brave" this year.
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Love that you made the costumes yourself!
