Earlier this year we shot our first in home studio photo shoot. While it is not something we are seeking to do on a regular basis, we enjoyed the creative challenge of trying something new. I thought I would share how we put together our own DIY in home studio that anyone can do with a few white sheets and a camera!

We moved the furniture around to have one blank wall space.
As well as using the bar to lay a sheet down.
The contrast of the neutral walls worked perfectly with our hardwood floors.
I used things around the house, like hand weights, to hold the sheet down.
We set up the two spaces so that the subject was facing the light coming from the back door.
With a few baskets, blankets, and one cute baby - we were set!
