Iced White Chocolate Mocha

One of my favorite coffee shop drinks is an iced white chocolate mocha. I have tried to make it at home with different white chocolate flavorings and finally came up with a recipe that I love.

I recently went on an online deep dive to find out how coffee shops make it and found out the secret is white chocolate powder! Along with some other tips I read, I came up with a recipe that I love. It is great hot or iced. It is my new go to at home latte that feels like a coffee shop treat!

I have been using Ghirardelli White Chocolate Powder for this recipe and am very happy with it. I also make this two ways - one with regular coffee (I use a pour over) and another with instant coffee when I want to whip this up quickly. Both recipes can be found below.

Iced White Chocolate Mocha

1/4 cup strong coffee

2 tablespoons white chocolate powder

3/4 cup milk of choice

Mix coffee and white chocolate powder until fully dissolved. Add milk and stir. Pour over ice.

// If you like it less sweet you can you can try 1 tablespoon of white chocolate powder and 1/2 cup of milk with the same amount of coffee.

Instant Coffee Method

1 tablespoon instant coffee

2 tablespoons white chocolate powder

2 tablespoons warm water

3/4 cup milk of choice

Mix instant coffee, white chocolate powder, and warm water with a hand frother. Add milk and froth again. Pour over ice.
