Teacher appreciation day is coming up and so I put together some little gifts for my kids' teachers. I feel so blessed that my kids have been lucky enough to have fantastic teachers every year. There is nothing like sending off your sweet babies for the whole day into the hands of someone else. Trusting them with my children's social, emotional, and academic well being is huge. I know it is a part of letting my kids grow up so having such thoughtful and caring teachers makes it just a little easier. I don't think I ever truly understood the weight of this until I sent my kids off to elementary school.
Our kids go to our wonderful neighborhood public school. I have been so impressed that the teachers and PTA go above and beyond to give our students such a wonderful educational experience. I cannot even begin to thank them for all they do but I hope these small thoughtful gifts can be a reflection of our appreciation.
This year I included a gift card, notebook, and some blank note cards. Our PTA has the teachers fill out a form about things they like and one of the teachers mentioned note cards (blank, thank you, and birthday) and I thought that was such a great and practical item to gift a teacher. I recently got a jumbo pack of beautiful blank note cards so I just tied up a handful to give to each teacher. I finished it off with my #1 teacher flag printable that we give every year.
