I wrapped one of the loafs up for a friend with a cutsie polka dot ribbon and a stamped pumpkin tag to finish it off...and little did they know it was not made from scratch! I won't tell if you won't! ;)
The package came with a can of pumpkin along with a bag of the bread batter. I thought this would also work really well to put in a clear canister as one of those pour all the ingredients in a bowl and bake presents. An easy and quick present without spending the day in the kitchen...and it was only $4!
I also made another ice cream cake this weekend. This is the original ice cream cake from Sandra Lee that I posted about here (recipe included). I thought I'd show what her recipe ends up looking like. Um...delicious! I ran out of toffee for the sides of the cake so I threw some Hershey's syrup all over it to fill in space. It made it even more tasty and beautiful!
