I survived...

Well, I survived the holidays...and I hope you did as well! I love Christmas...the festivities, the family, the presents, the cookies, the decorations...but boy is it tiring! I think it is a sign that I am getting old. ;)

Here is a photo of one of the highlights of the day...I got Brent a cotton candy machine. It is pretty amazing! He recently was passed on a standing cart popcorn maker...igniting a new found desire for funky kitchen gadgets. Needless to say, cotton candy was a hit...nothing like flavored sugar to rott your teeth...as if the candy canes and gingerbread weren't enough! Anyways, I find it very cute all vintage pink and stuff...and if we ever decide to join the circus...we are definitely one step ahead...

As for me, I am trying to cut back on the sugar cookies and get my digestive system off the all-sugar diet I have been on the last few days...checked out Target today for after Christmas clearance...only got a few things but started stocking on Valentine's Day decor (I know...you probably think I am sick...but just you wait...I may love my V-day decorations more than Christmas...yikes!)...and I am oh so excited about my blog makeover coming very soon...like by the time you read this it may be up...Kelly from Fabulous K emailed me a preview and oh my goodness it is b-e-a-utiful...I am also hoping to get organized (Thrifty Decor Chick is hosting my kind of par-tay)...and possibly tackle some of those fantastic Christmas projects you all were making me drool over...and I have my hutch to share...possibly a painting tutorial...

Happy post-Christmas cleaning my friends...and take some pepcid for that egg nog and fruitcake... ;)
