I threw together a little Mother's Day table scape for my mom's M-day dinner...
I scrounged the house for old pictures and sweet little girly touches to make the table a little special.
I used one of my
banners and added some construction paper letters with a pin for a personalized banner (minus all the night before, I am just thinking about this, work).
Lots of pictures from when my brother and I were little...
She is Chinese...hence the Asian inspired pieces...
Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful mothers out there!
What did your kids do for you this Mother's Day?
Did you do anything special with your mom?
Looks great!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time with your Mom.
so pretty! LOVE the hydrangea - my FAVE 2nd to Gerbera Daisies. My hubby made breakfast (pancakes, eggs, and turkey sausage) and he'll be grilling later when he gets home from WORK. EW.
ReplyDeleteLooks great! Enjoy your dinner! Happy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty tablescape!
ReplyDeleteWe did nothing for my mom so far because she is in Pittsburgh with my baby niece who had to have brain surgery yesterday. We took my MIL out to dinner.
My kids got me a gift certificate to my fav store and then we are going out to dinner tonight so I don't have to cook. Nothing fancy... just so I don't have to cook and clean up.
Lovely! Everything looks wonderful! My kids got me a beautiful orange flower that I can either plant in the ground or in a pot. My mom came over for brunch too. No fancy tablescapes here though. Hehehe.
ReplyDeleteWow, I bet your mom felt so special!!! :) You did a great. My girls gave me a card that they each "signed" (read: scribbled on) and "they" also gave me a gift card. We took my mom out for lunch after church today and gave her a card with a gift certificate for a pedicure. She was really excited. :)
ReplyDeleteI just love your tablescape. Love the banner.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks perfect! My kids painted terracotta flower pots for me!

ReplyDeleteThe table looks happy and fun. You could have just served water, and it would have been just fine with such a nice table.
