Making centerpieces is a fun project I like to work on…I love to change them for the different seasons and let them inspire the rest of the room. But creating one on demand is a little more difficult. My mom asked me to put together a centerpiece for her…which seems like a wonderful idea…except I do not craft well under pressure. I like to collect things over time and piece them together as the ideas come to me. Shopping for one is another story. But with a few different shopping trips and lots of sitting on the floor in the store arranging a centerpiece, I came up with these (You are going to love this—everything for the green one was from the Dollar Tree! I know! Go get that green wheat grass stuff…just don’t try to eat it!). My new favorite thing…putting the runner down the center of the table the short way. This one was compiled of some thrift store finds and feels more fall to me. Between the two, she should have some new centerpieces to change out with the seasons. I have to go rest now…
Great work. I have learned that I don't craft well. At all. Under pressure or not. It is a sad realization. I have been trying to "update" my centerpiece for about 6 months. It has been the same for 2 years, except at Christmas when I change it up.
You did a good job on these centerpieces. I'm going to give you a little tip though, Always make an arrangement with 3 or more focal points items. Only having 2 gives it the "Dolly Parton" effect.
