More Red, White, and Blue, and PINK!

CIMG0078About a week ago I was so sure I was not going to decorate for the 4th of July.  I even had a post about it and how the colors did not match my decor.  Well I obviously was wrong…CIMG0073because I realized I could add some pink and light blues…and suddenly things were a little more shabby. CIMG0109 CIMG0071Needless to say, I ended up staying up really late one night to make these.  The glitter is making me drool.   CIMG0107 I had extra scraps from the America banner so I cut them up into little triangles…and somehow the holiday madness begins again…!CIMG0099 CIMG0095

Do you try to match your holiday decor to your home (or is it just me!)?

  1. Yeah, I kind of try too, although my house colors are constantly changing... I am REALLY into aqua, red, and white right now... I would love to use that as my 4th of July colors, but all of my already purchased Americana stuff is cream, navy, and white...

  8. looks great!! and oh yeah, I even mix in pink w/ my Christmas. My kids don't even know that red & green are the "normal" Christmas colors.

  9. Too cute! I love how it turned out! Yes - it has to match for me! I even change out window treatments in some rooms for seasons. The lady at my fabric store thinks I'm crazy - she may be on to something - ha! Thanks for stopping over!

  10. I try to match, but I really like certain colors and don't mind if for a short time it isn't the perfect match in my house. I love my pink and red christmas trees...hey, that gives me an idea. I may take out my red one and decorate it for the 4th. You always give me inspiration..thanks!!
