70 days…

CIMG1114You heard me right, 70 days…until my wedding.  Please take a minute to breathe deeply as to not pass out at this obnoxiously quick engagement.  Rest assured, there is NO bun in the oven…ahem…  It is just time and I am a crazy woman.  So as I will be MIA for awhile, just wanted to check in and say thank you, thank you, thank you…for all the sweet comments on our engagement.  I was touched by so so many kind words and am so grateful for the great friends I have made through blogging.  I will try to keep you posted as things come along but know that the next 70 days are going to be ca-ray-zy! CIMG1077 Here are just some little sneak peaks of what I have been working on.  We are going to be working with lots of tealish green and blues, with some pops of pink and orange…and we are going for a fall barn yard type look…should be fun!

What colors did you do your wedding?

  1. Blue. Everything was blue. We had an outside wedding at a B & B on a river. The men had pale blue shirts and my dress was the lightest shade of blue ever. We even had blue icing on the cake. BTW my engagement ring is a sapphire.

I can't wait to see things as they develope for you.

  3. Love your theme so far! 70 days is so doable. You're going to have so much fun planning! I used this website's forums soooo much when I was planning. They have toooons of crafty diy ideas and there are all kinds of checklists that girls post. Some stuff you never may even think. But it's on the forums. www.weddingbells.ca Hope it helps you out!

  5. Wow, 70 days! What a whirlwind that will be.

I did blue and green (like my dress) and white and green flowers. On the tables, I had black tablecloths covered with pink rose petals. Here are a few pictures.

  8. My wedding is in 60 days... but we've been planning for a year. We also already had the bun which led to the longer planning for sanity's sake. Newborn + planning a quick wedding= crazy. Kind of like planning a wedding in 70 days! But I am very anxious to finally be married so I completely get it. Our colors are going to be navy blue and khaki with a lot of white mixed in and some polka dots as well. Good luck planning!

  9. Ooh, you're going to have so much fun! :) I got married in 2001, and purples were all the rage. My bridesmaids wore a really really pale purple and the flowers were gorgeous, bright jewel tones.

I love the Fall barn yard idea!!!

  10. 70 days? YOu go. I planned my wedding in 3 months and thought that was nuts. Good luck can't wait to see everything.

Almost 6 years ago I chose black for my bridesmaids with pops of light pink and hot pink. I loved everything about it. I hope you feel the same way about your wedding six years from now.

  17. Holy Moly! You ARE a crazy girl! I planned mine in six months and practially had a nervous breakdown! The colors sound gorgeous! We did a winter wedding in December and our colors were red and dark grey. If I could have a re-do, (and I'm totally working on my husband)I would do lime green and black :)
