While registering at Sear’s, I saw this darling little floral display and decided I would like something like this for my wedding…but, of course, at a fraction of the cost. So mom and I headed to our favorite little place…the Dollar Tree…75 bundles of flowers…20 somethin' containers…Making my mother pose by the Arizona tea…We got to work…plastic containers soon to be transformed into shabby white flower boxes… A whole lot of spray paintin goin on…And this is what happens when you spray paint in the garage with fans running, bare foot. And no kidding here…I looked in the mirror and my nose hairs were white! At least no one passed out…
The finished product coming soon…

You've got a great idea. I love finding ways to make something I've seen at a fraction of the cost. You seem like your doing things the right way and can't wait to see the finished project.

You go girl! It's going to look awesome. :) For our wedding reception, I stuck some goldfish in little bowls for each table. It wasn't as pretty, plus the groomsmen got the horrible idea to have goldfish-drinking contests. No lie. They even made my husband down a couple. It was not pretty.
ReplyDeleteYour arrangements are going to be beautiful!!! I am right there with you on the painted feet1 LOL!
ReplyDeleteI have been spraypainting some kitchen chairs black. I wore an old pair of sandals and my feet got covered in black mist from the spray paint. Even the bottoms of my feet were black. The next time I wore an old pair of socks. Live and learn, as the saying goes! Can't wait to see your finished arrangements. Love & blessings from NC!
This is going to be sooooo darling! I can't wait to see the finished results!
