Paper Birthday Banner

CIMG9961A little while ago I made a special order banner for a friend of mine.  She wanted a cute birthday banner but one that would be accommodating to her house of boys.  CIMG9963A little paper, glitter glue, and ribbon…and she had herself a banner.CIMG9964I really like the two tiered look.  I find it makes a bigger statement. CIMG9959I use to have an Etsy store but realized I did not love making stuff enough for the little money it was bringing in.  But on occasion, I do make stuff for people.  So if you ever see anything you like, let me know!

What is your favorite birthday party decorating item?

  2. This is really cute. I love the flag shape. I have to make a banner for my younger two kids. Their birthdays are a day apart and we're having a joint party this year so it has to be boy/girl friendly. You have given me a great idea. Thanks.

I wondered what happened to the Esty store. Glad to know you are still ready for biz if needed. You always have the cutest stuff!

  4. I love this banner. Would you mind sharing the font you use for the letters? My little one turns 1 next month and I would love to recreate this look.
    Thanks Ashley.

Oy, and the lamp hunting is driving me mad...I don't want to pay $40 each...I know I can find something cheaper.
