After rearranging our living room, I gained some extra wall space for my gallery of pictures. I decided to paint it a bold grayish blue with intentions of the rest of the room being a lighter shade. I love how the photos pop off the wall now. Please excuse my laundry sitting on the couch. They are clean if that makes it any better. And in case you do not read regularly, that young girl is not my daughter. A very common mistake made by new readers. :)
The wall color is:
Glidden French Grey GLN47 (Grey, I know! This was the original problem. I was looking for shades of blue and realized the colors I liked are shades of grey. Less beachy, more shabby.)
What a beautiful color - I also love the look with the frames!

It looks awesome! I think the navy color is perfect...the white frame really pop off the wall (:
ReplyDeleteLove the color, Ashley!!! Those photos look fabulous there. :)
ReplyDeleteOoooh I like it! It really makes everything pop!
ReplyDeleteOh, I so love the gray color, I was contemplating painting our bedroom but since we rent I'm still thinking. I am so glad you posted this; I have a wall of frames on my hallway but they are different colors(dark brown and black) and I was thinking of spray painting them all the same, but I like the mix in yours, so I'm keeping mine. See how this works?
ReplyDeleteLOVE!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this color! It's such a perfect accent color!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty - really like how pulled together it looks and you still get to see people and stuff that you like and that's important to you! Great job!
