A Thankful Chalkboard

DSC_0661I was having a rough morning…and as I looked out of my kitchen window, I saw two adorable little girls waving at me from across the street.  My sweet neighbor girls who never fail to say hello.  No matter my mood, those girls put a smile on my face.

And then I was reminded…

Of the small blessings in life…

Like friendly neighbors…

Because sometimes I take for granted what a HUGE blessing that is…

Which prompted this…

And then suddenly my day wasn’t so bad after all…DSC_0660 It is all about perspective, right?

What are you thankful for?

  3. Great things to be thankful for! One small thing I am thankful for is frozen peppermint hot chocolate at Starbucks. Oh. My. Word. It's positively sinful.

You're "Thankful" chalkboard is a fabulous idea...(just a little Christmas Hint...."Thankful" chalkboards for all the girls on your Christmas list -- it would be great for even the youngest ones) :)

  6. Amen Sista! (said with my New yorker fake accent)
In the last year I've been reminded that even the fact that I'm able to have kids is a blessing, having a home, etc.
And yes, having a clean toilet is on my list too.
    I love your chalkboard BTW
