I was having a rough morning…and as I looked out of my kitchen window, I saw two adorable little girls waving at me from across the street. My sweet neighbor girls who never fail to say hello. No matter my mood, those girls put a smile on my face.
And then I was reminded…
Of the small blessings in life…
Like friendly neighbors…
Because sometimes I take for granted what a HUGE blessing that is…
Which prompted this…
And then suddenly my day wasn’t so bad after all… It is all about perspective, right?
What are you thankful for?

ReplyDeleteAmen to #5!!! :) One day maybe I'll have some too. ;) I love that chalkboard and the idea to use one for a Thankful list.
ReplyDeleteLove the new blog banner!!!
Great things to be thankful for! One small thing I am thankful for is frozen peppermint hot chocolate at Starbucks. Oh. My. Word. It's positively sinful.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love your thankful chalkboard. I just bought a photo chalkboard and I may have to borrow your idea this "thankful" month!
ReplyDeleteMy dear Ashley, I'm thankful for ~~ YOU! I couldn't have asked for a better wife for my son. You're such an encourager.
ReplyDeleteYou're "Thankful" chalkboard is a fabulous idea...(just a little Christmas Hint...."Thankful" chalkboards for all the girls on your Christmas list -- it would be great for even the youngest ones) :)
Amen Sista! (said with my New yorker fake accent)
ReplyDeleteIn the last year I've been reminded that even the fact that I'm able to have kids is a blessing, having a home, etc.
And yes, having a clean toilet is on my list too.
I love your chalkboard BTW
