I spruced up my thrift store wreath last year by simply adding four shimmery blue bows. This is probably one of the easiest way to wow-up a wreath with the most minimal work. I got the idea from Martha. You can also make all your garland coordinate by adding the same colored bows. Again wow for just pennies (technically a few dollars…you know what I mean). 
And this year, one of my good friends told me about adding battery powered lights to your wreath (yeah, I didn’t know about them…). I picked up some white ones from Target (they have them cheaper at Big Lots but they were all wiped out when I got there) and now my snowy wreath shines in the dark. It adds a little more light to our already dark and low entry way…
I don’t show off my porch much, but I am really happy with our Christmas lights this year, so check back tomorrow to see what we did.
