I spruced up my thrift store wreath last year by simply adding four shimmery blue bows. This is probably one of the easiest way to wow-up a wreath with the most minimal work. I got the idea from Martha. You can also make all your garland coordinate by adding the same colored bows. Again wow for just pennies (technically a few dollars…you know what I mean). And this year, one of my good friends told me about adding battery powered lights to your wreath (yeah, I didn’t know about them…). I picked up some white ones from Target (they have them cheaper at Big Lots but they were all wiped out when I got there) and now my snowy wreath shines in the dark. It adds a little more light to our already dark and low entry way… I don’t show off my porch much, but I am really happy with our Christmas lights this year, so check back tomorrow to see what we did.
What do you like to add lights to during Christmas?
Love the look!
ReplyDeleteThat wreath is super cute!
ReplyDeletevery cute, indeed. I am waiting until some Christmas magic happens where I can afford to make your other one. Uff, why does it seems that every holiday I'm plague with worries? Since I'm an emotional eater, at this pace I'm never loosing weight *sigh*
