These doilies have been lying around in my craft room for months and I finally took the time to make them into something pretty. I recently saw the idea for a doily runner from Kasey Buick and found even more doily runner inspiration online that I shared on my Pinterest page.
Perfectly feminine and a touch of vintage give my dining room table some added fluff...
Place mats were found on clearance at World Market.
And so you ask, how did I do it? Thankfully I found a tutorial because I almost took my sewing machine too it. But instead all I had to do was tie the doilies together. Took me about a movie to get it all done. Perfect for late night lounging with the hubby.
That looks absolutely, scrumptiously lovely... oh to sit down and have tea with you!

It's lovely!! Love the mix of shades and patterns. :)
ReplyDeleteThat came out really pretty! It definitely softens up the placemats and adds that little bit of vintage/shabby chic charm.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! So lovely. Now I have a reason to snatch up the doilies I always see at thrift shops but haven't had an excuse to buy!
