I love this dress. I love it so much I looked past the fact that it didn't work for my body type and I bought it anyways. It was too good of a deal to pass up. Then I saw myself wearing it in photos in two separate occasions...and I looked terrible. I hate wasted outfits. So I thought I would try something out. I decided to make the dress work for me.
I partnered my dress with a short sleeved cardigan and cinched my waist with a belt. I needed a solid color to break up the pattern that just was not working for my body. Enter in flattering outfit.
I do not recommend buying items that don't work for your body in hopes of making it work. But perhaps you are like me and have a few impulse buys that you already ripped the tags off of and threw away the receipt. If that is the case, give it a second chance. Fall is time for layering and I bet with a little creativity you could make it work!
