This bread and dill dip is dill-licious! If you are familiar with La Bou, you know what I am talking about. A light and creamy dip to soak up spongy pieces of french bread in. It is easy to make and wonderful to serve to guests. It is one of my go-to party dishes.
The dip is made up of the pictured ingredients plus water. This is one of those recipes I usually just throw together and make to taste, but I finally took the time to measure it out. Once you make it, feel free to adjust the ingredients to your liking. You really cannot go wrong with this one.
Dill Dip with French Bread
1-1/2 cup mayo
1-1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried dill
1 packet of Hidden Valley buttermilk ranch
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and serve with french bread.
This would also make a great dressing for a salad or sandwich. And if you like this, it is an awful lot like my ranch dressing recipe as well!
