In my marriage I do not always say thank you enough. I say thank you when it is appropriate. But in slowing down, as I spent my day tidying, working, and just being in our home, I was thankful for all that we had. A roof over my head. A beautiful home. And a home that has been created by the work of our own hands.
My husband does so much for me. Yet is so easy to say thank you and move on to the next thing. I want to say thank you again. That the joy of what he has done in the past is not lost in the next project or thing.
I want to just be in what we already have instead of racing to what is ahead.
