My sister in law made me a baby medical record file folder that has come in handy to organize all of the baby's important documents. I loved it so much I decided I needed to make a second one that way I had one that I kept at home and one that I could take with me when needed. Here is the one that I put together.
I found this beautiful floral expanding file folder from Staples and picked up some matching gold file folders from Target. Between all the paperwork that was given to me at classes, in the hospital, and for baby products we received or purchased, this was a lifesaver in those early chaotic days.
My husband had a ton of paperwork to fill out for his family leave and so having everything easily accessible in one place made it much easier for him to find what he needed.
This would make a great gift for a new mom and when I received mine at my baby shower everyone was very curious and interested in it!
The folders include the following categories:
-Birth Certificate and Social Security Card
-Keepsakes
-Milestones
-Insurance Paperwork
-Nursing and Feeding Info
-Article Pamphlets
-Manuals
-Receipts and Warranties
-Misc
This file folder is a great way to stay organized with a new baby plus it is pretty to look at! It would be great to even have a version of this for each child of the family to keep everything tidy and in one place!
