Besides loving on my sweet little boy, one of my favorite things about being a mom is being able to shop for all the sweet baby things! Before our son was even a dream in my heart, I would wander the baby section at stores looking at all the cute tiny onesies and toys. I would even keep a watchful eye out in case I ran into anyone I knew because I did not want people to think I was pregnant!
Fast forward to pregnancy and it seemed like I would spend all my free time waddling around stores and browsing online for just the right toys, nursery decor, and baby essentials to add to my registry. The dreaming and nesting is such a beautiful part of preparing for a baby that I will always look back on.
And then there is today. Knee deep in motherhood as well as now living out in the country where running errands is a twenty minute drive away! I no longer spend my free time browsing and dreaming! Instead I am researching teething, putting another load of cloth diapers into the wash, and closing my eyes whenever I get the chance!
While I do believe stores have come along way in providing cute and stylish baby products, it still can be incredibly overwhelming when you don't have the time or interest in shopping around. This is where Baby Cubby comes in handy. Baby Cubby curates the best, safest, and in my opinion, cutest, baby products out on the market.
Here is a round up of a few of my favorite toys - cute, quality, and open ended toys that keep baby occupied. Plus this style conscious mom doesn't mind seeing them around the house!
Besides sweet little baby toys, I was also pretty picky about what diaper bag I would use. I know that some diaper bags can be on the pricier side. But for something you are lugging around daily, you want it to work hard for you. Innovative designs with the busy mom in mind really makes a big difference when you are trying to reach for your wallet at the grocery store or need that burp rag pronto.
Plus I love the idea of carrying a diaper bag that feels more like a purse. When I feel put together it makes me feel better as a whole. I highly recommend a backpack style for having your hands free. But if you also want a more purse like style for a dressier look, I say there is nothing wrong with getting two. Of all the things you get for baby, consider this a small gift to yourself. I received #2 and #3 as shower gifts and just recently ordered #1 from Baby Cubby.
1. Petunia Pickle Bottom Glazed Pathway Pack // 2. Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Backpack Glazed - Indigo // 3. Petunia Pickle Bottom Downtown Tote Glazed - Birch and Black // 4. Coco and Kiwi Provence 5-Piece Diaper Bag // 5. Skip Hop Highline Convertible Diaper Bag - Oyster Stripe
Besides cute toys and diaper bags, Baby Cubby also provides you with all the other baby gear you would need in the first year and beyond. I love the idea of planning ahead when investing in some of your big ticket items. For example, the Baby Jogger City Select Stroller is designed to grow with your family converting from one to three children riding at once. And when the time comes for baby number two, I would love to have a MamaRoo for those early weeks of replicating those natural womb like movements!
If you are looking for quality baby products without doing all the time consuming research yourself, Baby Cubby has you covered!
