We recently started streaming ambient videos when we need a little change in our day as background music to play time. We used this a lot in the spring while we had a ton of rain and spent most of our days indoors.
While we are soaking up the last few months of wonderful sunny weather in Seattle, I know these videos will be back in the rotation once the weather changes.
I will admit to a little anxiety over the coming winter months of being at home again with two little ones to entertain. But if I learned anything from those early months of quarantine, with a little creativity I can create a meaningful and fun atmosphere with my children.
