Paper Flower Craft Ideas

On Mother's Day this year I made these sweet flower crafts with my son for him, me, and his grandmas. Just like I have shared in the past about it being okay to throw your own birthday party, I also believe it is okay to help your kids make your own Mother's Day (or whatever holiday) craft.

Especially in this new time of quarantine/pandemic life, our kids don't have those same make crafts for mom opportunities (bless those sweet teachers, Sunday school volunteers, childcare workers, etc! We miss you!). These adorable little flower crafts made my mama heart soar. And even more special that we got to enjoy the project together.

The flowers and tags are from The Mama Notes and the vases and frames are from Olive and Eve Co. Her Mother's Day printables are no longer available but she has beautiful seasonal printables as well as usually one free bundle every few months.

I especially love the frame prints for year around. We have these ones of the kids hung up on our refrigerator and they are the perfect little backdrop for some sweet photos. Be sure to scroll down to the very end to see a picture of my husband back in high school! I have been looking for a way to use this photo in a keepsake way and I am so happy/laughing at how it came out. He just rolled his eyes at me. It is also hanging on our refrigerator until eternity.

    1. I keep the few that are special to me and then toss the rest! I also take pictures of the items I liked but threw away and plan to make an art photobook one of these days!
