I love a good family costume and while this year is a bit different, my mama heart simply wanted something easy, fun, and matching. Now that our son is getting older, he has a preference for what he wears on Halloween. So I usually plan a family Halloween picture and stay lenient about what he wears on the actual night.
And the same goes for my husband and I. Sometimes we also dress up on Halloween night and other times we don't. Since I am pregnant and it will likely be cold and possibly rainy, we will probably just bundle up and let the kids pick what they want to wear out of our little costume/dress up collection (likely the birthday astronaut costume and little bat girl).
We love these superhero capes from Etsy. We have had them for over a year now and they continue to be a huge hit. I love seeing them run around the house with their little cape flying behind them.
We took a few pictures in the yard and then our son suggested some running pictures! It ended up being a hilarious family moment of running around laughing. And though pregnant lady running around is not my most glamorous moment, I am thankful for these silly pictures to remember the sweet time we had.
