Easy Green Onion Inspired Noodles | Kid Friendly Asian Noodles

We love this easy green onion noodle recipe (also known as scallion oil noodles). Any time I make some kind of Asian meal, I usually serve it with these noodles for our kids. The recipe is inspired by noodles we like to get at a local dumpling restaurant.

You can make this recipe with fresh green onions but I found making these with onion powder tasted just as good and was easier for me to make without needing to have green onions on hand.

I eyeball everything when I make this. You really can't go wrong. But I tried to estimate the measurements for this recipe. Feel free to add to your liking.

Easy Green Onion Inspired Noodles

1 box of wheat spaghetti or other thin noodles

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 teaspoons sugar

1-2 teaspoons onion Powder

Boil and drain noodles. Return to pan with remaining ingredients. Cook and mix until combined and heated through.

Serve with your favorite Asian meal! We love lettuce wraps, stir fry, teriyaki chicken, and pot stickers/dumplings!
